A very special booklet for you all tonight- a very old (1912) era Steiner booklet entitled "The Occult Significance of Blood" taken of course from Goethe's "faust." It goes into great detail on the subject, regarding blood as literally the fluid of life itself. You will note in this work as well as other early theosophical works, a lot of philosophy surrounding the very concept of "I" or "self."
