A nice, but very short, booklet from the 1920s, detailing the legend of Francis Bacon as the real William Shakespeare, his membership in a secret society called the Fraternity of the Ark, and, through cryptographic methods, the existence of the Shakespearean mystery itself as allusions to a form of occultism/ secretive spiritual path.
